Vinyl Album Cover

Listening to Cody Johnson’s Ain’t Nothin to It album, every lyric has meaning, and I chose it because the country music album would allow me to bring the meaning of lyrics into my design. The album covers a variety of ideas, from heartbreak to just having fun, and much of it is advice from his dad and family members. I used the recipe categories to convey the separation of these ideas. What’s usually labeled as things like “breakfast”, “baking”, or “dinner”, I made into the three main categories of the songs on the album; heartbreak, moving on, and making it last. The recipe box is meant to convey the idea that family secrets, tips, and tricks are being carried on through generations. Instead of recipes, it’s advice.
